About the role
You'll be the backend anchor on a client pod, shaping the data model and owning API design. Two of our most demanding clients are PHP shops — we need someone who can hold the line on quality there.

What you'll do
Design APIs, schemas, and background jobs
Own database performance and migrations
Pair with frontend on contract design
Carry on-call during launches
What you need
5+ years Laravel and Postgres
Strong understanding of background jobs (Horizon / queues)
Have run a production database with > 100GB
Comfortable writing tests in Pest or PHPUnit
Nice to have
Kafka or NATS
Multi-tenant SaaS experience
Observability work
