How we shipped it

One load record

The office view and the driver app read and write the same load, so a status change in the cab is the same event the invoice is eventually built from.

Invoicing where the data already is

Billing and invoicing were built into the platform rather than exported to an accounting package, because the billable facts — the stops, the delays, the proof of delivery — are already in the load record.
