Thirty-three e-commerce features shipped for the Pakistani market, not adapted from a Western template.
The challenge
Storefront platforms are built around card payments, addressed delivery and buyers who trust prepayment. Pakistan runs on cash on delivery, informal addresses and a customer who wants to talk to a human on WhatsApp before ordering.

Outcomes
How we shipped it
Localisation is not translation
A whole delivery phase went to Pakistan-specific behaviour — cash on delivery, local courier handling and the address realities that break an international checkout. Those are not settings on a global platform; they are the product.
Phone first, actually
The mobile phase was treated as its own scope rather than as responsive breakpoints added at the end, because in this market the desktop storefront is the secondary surface.
Trust before conversion tricks
Verification, fraud checks and order confidence shipped as their own phase. In a cash-on-delivery market the expensive failure is not an abandoned cart — it is a dispatched order that is refused at the door.
