A multi-tenant affiliate and MLM platform where every tenant gets its own commission structure.
The challenge
Affiliate and network-marketing programmes each have their own commission rules, hierarchy depth and payout logic. Running them on per-client forks means every rule change is a deployment, for one customer at a time.
What we built
Outcomes
How we shipped it
Tenancy at the data layer
Isolation is enforced where the records live rather than in application checks sprinkled through the controllers, so a new tenant is a configuration change and not a fork.
Commission as configuration
The commission structure and hierarchy depth are data, not code. A programme's rules change without touching the deployment that serves every other tenant.
Genealogy that stays fast
Downline trees get deep and are read constantly. The hierarchy is modelled so that reading a genealogy does not walk the whole tree on every page load.
